Rafael Leão has been working in the lighting design field for 20 years and in that time he has developed over 850 residential and commercial lighting projects in Brazil and America. Mr. Leão received his Bachelor of Architecture in 1998 and became a specialist in Built Environment and Energy Conservation in 2002. He received his Marsters in 2008 from the University of São Paulo/USP. Rafael is a professional member of the IALD (International Association of Lighting Designers) and of AsBAI (Brazilian Association of Lighting Architects). His work as a lighting designer has been featured in several publications and websites and has earned Mr. Leão eleven international awards.
